These are the words which every Ateneo Hearter learn  in his stay in Sacred Heart School- Ateneo De Cebu. The very same words each Teacher hopes that a Hearter will breathe and live by beyond his years after school.

Meet our Jesuits

Above are the Jesuits who run Sacred Heart School- Ateneo de Cebu. They are very friendly and you should get to know them better. Fr. Manny is the president, Fr. Nunez is the Spiritual director, Fr Julian is the school treasurer and sports consultant, Fr. Munching works at the campus ministry and you'll eventually know the others in your stay in Shs-Adc.

The Mission of Scared Heart School - Ateneo de Cebu aims at academic excellence within a context that is humanistic and palpably Filipino.It stresses the formation of students through Christian witness,effective citizenship, service and leadership. And to foster a harmonious integration of Chinese and Filipino culture and values. Curriculum Offering

Sacred Heart School- Ateneo de Cebu has a full curriculum offering with top notch facilities for learning. Examples are the 4 science labs namely the General Science lab, Biology Lab, Chemistry Lab and Physics lab .There is also a Chinese subject for the students. And for those without Chinese background, the school offers remedial classes to facilitate better understanding for those with difficulty.

Co and Extra Curricular Offering

A wide variety of co and co-curricular offerings from sports to talents and to personal interests - we all have it here in Sacred Heart School - Ateneo de Cebu with the proper facilities for each sport. What makes this quite special is that students can only join 1 sport and 1 club - to ensure that they only focus their energy to what interests them the most. Also this way, the Teachers can make good follow through of the students' progress and give timely feedback to address gaps and make sure that this is an avenue for holistic learning. So that we Ateneo Hearters can also have a better chance to be winners in the field of sports and academics.

Sacred Heart School- Ateneo de Cebu (or rather SHS-ADC) is indeed an institution capable of transforming students into "Men and Women for others" through its' balanced curriculum. The very heart of its values will prepare each student to become better in their field of pursuit. I am glad to be part of this stupendous experience, savoring the " Magis " journey.
